What is high pigment lipstick?
Lipstick is available in lots of different textures, from very sheer to more opaque. The more opaque the lipstick is the more likely the pigment is stronger. When a pigment in a product is strong this means the colour has a lot of saturation. Your lip will be covered in luxe full coverage layer of colour. All our MAC textures that are high pigment from both matte to shine, from bullet to liquid lipstick.
My favourite high pigment lipstick here at MAC, is the MACximal Silky Matte Lipstick, shade D for Danger is my absolute favourite shade, as its a juicy, piercing red shade. After applying my MAC Prep & Prime Lip to get my lips to ready for a smooth application, i choose a matching pencil, for this shade I use Vino Lip Pencil to give my lips structure and a base. MAC MACximal Silky Matte lipsticks are amazing as they have a outstanding hydration with their cocoa and shea butter infused formula and 12 hours Long-wearing.

TOP TIP:
For a bold lip, for quickness apply your lipstick first then use the liner to neaten the edges. Rather then creating a presise line first and having pressure to not apply out the lines. This will create the lip a lot quicker for you.
